When I first started in the Carpet Cleaning business, I desperately wanted to create a great company that would make profits. I can’t tell you how many different advertising systems I tried, yellow pages, google adwords, yahoo search marketing, PPC consultants, the list goes on.
They all turned out to be EXPENSIVE and pretty useless over the long term.
This not only made me incredibly frustrated, but it actually made me mad at myself. I knew I was capable of doing it myself, but I just couldn’t figure out how to organize all the information, and present it in a persuasive fashion.
Not to mention, I was getting a lot of contradicting information. One guru would tell that you should always use Google Adwords to generate leads. Then I’d go to another guru’s manual, and he wouldn’t even include a chapter about adwords in his manual at all!
Nothing was making sense. I decided that the current information out there about small business advertising on the web just wasn’t going to give me the answers I was desperately seeking. So I decided to figure it out for myself…
My Desires Let Me Down This Path…
As I struggled to earn a decent living, I found myself being pushed up against a wall. The credit card debt was piling. The disgusted looks my friends and family would shoot my way were increasing… and frankly I spent a lot of nights staring at the ceiling, wide awake and afraid.
I knew there had to be an easier way. Then one day I thought to myself – if I could just force myself to sit down and write a business model that required little or no money for advertising but got great results in one sitting.. just hitting the most important things that I knew would help increase my chances of making my carpet cleaning business a success… and just throwing it out there to see what happens…
Which Allowed Me to Discover This Solution…
Maybe that would give me the insight I needed. And it did!
